The Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has made it clear that Mike Sonko must be on the ballot in Mombasa Governorship race. According to Kalonzo, it's bad for leaders to sit somewhere and connive to stop his candidate from being on the ballot yet he is also part of the Azimio coalition.

Kalonzo Musyoka is clear there has been all manner of efforts to ensure Sonko is not on the ballot going into the August 9th polls but such won't succeed. According to Musyoka, he is sure Sonko is the only leader who will uplift the lives of the ordinary people in Mombasa County.
Kalonzo is clear some of the leaders in the Azimio coalition have been targeting his candidates in Wiper, Sonko being one of them. He is clear as a leader he is only focused in seeing a strong Azimio and a united one but not leaders who are fighting one another to bring others down.
Kalonzo is clear Sonko is yet to expedite his case in court hence he must be allowed to contest in the upcoming August 9th polls for he is still innocent until pronounced guilty. He is clear as a senior Counsel, he will stop at nothing until Sonko's name is included in the ballot paper.
