Presidential seat has attracted new political contenders. The new political contenders includes national assembly speaker Justin Muturi, businessman Jimmy Wanjingi, former UNCTAD secretary general Mukhisa Kituyi and Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana.
Today the national assembly speaker took his presidential campaigns in Nyanza region. The experienced public servant was warmly welcomed in Siaya county. Local residents and Bodaboda riders warmly received the assembly speaker entourage.
Speaker Justin Muturi will popularize his presidential bid in the region which is dominated by ODM party. He is hosted by the former police spokesperson Charles Owino. The former spokesperson is eyeing for Siaya gubernatorial seat.
Justin Muturi was recently coronated as Mount Kenya spokesperson. He has been traversing different parts of the country popularizing his presidential bid. Several leaders from Mount Kenya East region have endorsed him for presidency.
