The hard work by William Ruto's camp of traversing the country campaigning is paying off if the latest polls by Intel Research Solutions is anything to go by.
According to the research company, the deputy president is now leading his Azimio La Umoja Presidential candidate and counterpart in the latest opinion poll. According to the poll, Ruto leads by 49% while the ODM party leader follows at 42%.
In simple terms what this means is, if presidential elections were held today, the deputy president will emerge the winner and become the next president.
It is now up to the Azimio La Umoja principals to pull up their socks and sell their presidential candidate widely in order to catch up with the deputy president.
