"OKA on Deathbed?" Fresh Details Emerge as Moi, Kalonzo Dumps to Joins 'Rival' Group

"Do not put politics in the lungs" has always been a common saying among kenyans whenever referring to the political class wars. Basing on past experiences in the nation, it is very clear that enemity in politics is always short lived and based on the interests of the politicians 'at the moment'.

According to various political analysts, kenyans should not be shocked to see unanticipated coalitions as the country heads towards the 2022 polls. Terming the moment as a 'political transfer window', the analysts predicted a lot of realignments to come.

On Saturday morning, one of President Uhuru Kenyatta's key ally Polycarp Hinga unleashed details about the newly formed One Kenya Alliance. According to Hinga, the coalition made up of Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi and Moses Wetangula has reached the end of the road after some members decided to join their rival party for a pact.

Despite forming an MOU that fully commits them to the coalition, the four might fail to do the official launch of the coalition which was set to happen soon. According to Hinga, the Baringo senator Hon Gideon Moi and his counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka were deliberating on joining Raila Odinga.

"Reality is starting to check in OKA as insiders say the launch will not happen despite signing an MOU that none of them would leave. Gideon Moi who has all along been talking about the coalition has made up his mind to join Raila Odinga. Kalonzo Musyoka has also made up his mind to join Raila Odinga but fears going public about his decision for fear of backlash from his juniors in Wiper party." Polycarp posted on his Facebook account.
