Mandera senator Ali Roba, Karen Nyamu at Statehouse
Former Mandera governor who recently ran as a senator for the same County was among the many leaders who thronged Statehouse for a meeting with the President William ruto. The governor was part of a team that defected from Raila’s Azimio la Umoja just weeks after the general election results were announced.
Also present was Kerochi chief executive officer who doubles up as Nakuru county is Senator Tabitha karanja who has become a favourite for Nakuru residents following a massive employment to the youth and residence of Nakuru in her company keroche breweries.
Also visibly present in the meeting was Karen Nyamu, who also reaped big from Ruto's presidency after she was nominated to the lucrative seat of a senator under the Kenya Kwanzaa coalition after shelving her dreams of becoming a senator.
Ruto has reiterated his firm commitment in ensuring that he works with senators who are allied to his coalition to ensure that services to Kenyans are well delivered and that discussions and bills in the Senate are beneficial to all Kenyans
