After Mutahi Ngunyi wrote a controversial tweet asking Kikuyus to stay united, Kirinyaga women representative Hon. Wangui Ngirici has revealed the only position Kikuyus can get in the 2022 general elections based on it's current status. Her sentiment could easily anger President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"Dear Kikuyus: You must hang together or you be hung separately," Mutahi Ngunyi said.
"If asking kikuyu to hang together makes me a tribalist i am one. And then?" He added.
Kirunyaga women representative Hon Purity Wangui Ngirici has however come out crystal clear and said, " i am yet to see a Mt. Kenya leader who can pull a crowd outside his constituency or county. What we have are county Kingspins and i believe that is what pains the President. The region wants a diplomatic and fearless man but many leaders in the region offering themselves for Presidency lack those qualities,"
According to reports, Mt. Kenya leaders want to negotiate with the deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto for the deputy seat come 2022 general elections. The names featured in the reports for the deputy presidential seat include Moses Kuria, Kithure Kindiki, William Kabogo, Justin Muturi, Martha Karua and Mwangi Kiunjuri.
