Former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri has finally addressed Kenyans on his decision ahead of the 2022 general election. The Service Party Leader (TSP) was appearing on a live interview at Inooro TV’s political show Kiririmbi show last night.
Kiunjuri was among the leaders earlier on fronted to take the Deputy President position in the next government as he was among the favorites to be Ruto’s running mate. However, this has changed with time after he launched his party, TSP.
The Ex-CS addressed that since the DP Publicly stated his party UDA was not willing to enter into coalition terms with other parties, he has since distanced himself from the UDA party as he is not willing to fold his party to join another.
Kiunjuri further stated that at the moment, ODM is at a better chance of winning other parties as it is accepting to unite with other parties to form the next government. While questioned whether he is planning to join ODM, Kiunjuri stated that only time will tell but so far they have not sat or spoken with Raila Odinga on anything concerning joining hands.
