The Weston Hotel was not demolished as planned, according to lawyer Ahmednasir

Online reports have surfaced as to why deputy president William Ruto's Weston Hotel was not demolished as scheduled.

Ahmednasir Abdullahi, a top lawyer, published the information on his Twitter page. Bulldozers had been dispatched to demolish the hotel, according to lawyer Ahmednasir.

The demolition of the Weston hotel, which is located along Langata road near Langata primary school in the Langata region, had been rumored for some time.

According to reports, the hotel was built on public land, and cases to demolish it had been filed, and a decision had been reached. Several top officials linked it to political conflicts, while others advocated for its demise.

After the tractor arrived at the hotel, the powers and authorities who had ordered it to be demolished changed their minds, according to lawyer Abdullahi. Many Kenyans reacted by advocating for justice and fairness while dealing with such delicate issues in order to avert panic.
