Minutes after the court ordered the suspension of Nairobi governor by election, the vocal Tangatanga member of parliament Hon Oscar Sudi took to his social media page to reveal those who participated in today's court hearing via Zoom conferencing .
According to Sudi , the current Ps in the ministry of interior and coordination Hon Karanja Kibicho was among the top government leaders who participated in today's court hearing.According to him , the three Kibicho, solicitor general and Njee muturi are Harambee house prefects and monitors that he has since been talking about.
" PS Karanja Kibicho and Solicitor General Ken Ogeto, Njee Muturi were following live court proceedings in Sonko's case via Zoom. At least we now know who is interested in this case and why was Sonko's impeachment rushed and even gazetted at midnight. These are Harambee house prefects and monitors I have been talking about." Sonko's impeachment pulled alongside it a series of criticism , especially after his ouster was gazetted late at night. The move by the court to stop Nairobi governor's by election is a win to former governor Sonko, given that he has high chances of bring reinstated as the Nairobi governor. If his defense team will be able to prove that his impeachment did not follow the stated threshold of the constitution, then the recent directive by EACC will stand null and void .
