Raila Odinga will face deputy president Ruto in 2022 polls and they are considered the main contenders for the top seat in the country. However, Raila Odinga has suffered a huge blow ahead of the 2022 polls simply because Uhuru has failed to turn up for his political rallies despite announcing that he will make sure that Raila Odinga is the fifth president of Kenya.
However, Uhuru's insiders have refuted the speculation and revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is waiting for the right time so that he will start campaigning for Raila Odinga. Kanini Kega who is a close ally of Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that Uhuru Kenyatta is finalizing his work in the office and he will soon start campaigning for Raila Odinga. There is some speculation that Uhuru has neglected Raila Odinga because he has not taken him to mt Kenya region and also he failed to turn up while Karua was being nominated to be Raila's running mate.
