Martha Karua Sends Cryptic Message to Gachagua as Nyeri Residents Attend Her Rally in Numbers -VIDEO

The running mates of the two front runners, Deputy President William Ruto and his political rival former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, have been very active doing campaigns in the country after they were named for the positions.

National Rainbow Coalition of Kenya (NARC-K) party leader Martha Karua has been having her campaigns in the Mount Kenya region with the latest being in Nyeri County, now on its fourth day.

Speaking to residents in the area on Friday, May 20, Raila Odinga's running mate said that they should know who to send to be the deputy president in the upcoming general elections in August.

She compared two kids in a family, where one is trusted with money while the other the family is afraid to send to the shop with money since they can disappear with it.

According to Saudi Arabia's Central Bank adviser Mohamed Wehliye, Karua was comparing herself with United Democratic Alliance (UDA) presidential running mate and Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua.

The lawmaker has ongoing cases in the High Court of Kenya that involves corruption.
