Emerging details indicates that Azimio la umoja led by former prime minister Raila Odinga is now forcing Governors to contribute some money for the support of Raila's campaign ahead of the coming general election.
Taking to his social media accounts, Dennis Itumbi who is a strong supporter of deputy president William Ruto revealed that majority of governors allied to Orange Democratic Movement have suggested that they should contribute between ten million and fifteen million each.
Otherwise, a section of jubilee governors who are also supporters of Azimio la umoja have opposed the proposed amount and want it to be reduced to atleast two million.
This comes just some few days after a number of governors assurance to support Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Odinga in the coming general election.
