Deputy President William Ruto has not had it easy as he tries to build a strong camp ahead of the 2022 elections.
Former ODM Deputy Communications Director Seth Odongo alias Dikembe Disembe has said that Ruto will make a major move after suffering a few setbacks in his bid to work with leaders from other regions.
Ruto has lost a number of his allies and he recently during his rallies told politicians not to use him then when it comes to votes during elections they don’t deliver.
Disembe claimed that allies of Ruto in the UDA Party will soon ditch him after latest move by Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa who on Sunday announced he will not be part of the Tangatanga politics for the next four months.
As many claim Didmus was ditching Ruto’s camp, Disembe predicted that by the end of the year, Ruto will only remain with leaders from his region only in UDA.
With politicians allegedly deciding to switch camps, Disembe further predicted that DP Ruto will have no choice but to abandon UDA party.
“At the height of his hubris, one was tempted to think Didmus Barasa would be the running mate of DP Ruto. I still repeat that UDA by end of this year will be a Kalenjin Party. My other prediction, though farfetched, is that DP Ruto himself will abandon UDA. #DeadOnArrivalUDA,” said Disembe.
DP Ruto early this year in one of his rallies told the Luhya community that they only look for him when they need his help when it comes to matters of development or harambees but the favor is never returned during elections as he claimed they give their votes to ODM leader Raila Odinga.
