The former vice president has made a heroic entry to the Bomas premises. He was escorted by chase cars and high security was witnessed. SUV vehicles were also part of Mudavadi's entourage that entered the historical Bomas.
To add the icing on top of the cake, tens of Mudavadi's supporters welcomed him while chanting pro ANC slogans. The charged and excited crowd escorted Mudavadi until he entered inside the Bomas building. Click here to watch video.
This kind of reception is common to people of high profile and major influence. This being a political season, the reception may have been organized deliberately to show the country that Mudavadi is a seasoned politician who has got his support base and also prove that he is qualified to lead the country.
Kenyans have been eagerly waiting for this announcement and at some instance, people had started to get impatient. The announcement is expected to shape the presidential campaigns as Mudavadi hinted. Speculations are that, the ANC boss might team up with the deputy president William Ruto to form a coalition ahead of the polls.
