National Assembly Speaker Wetangula Informs Why He Abstained From Ruling on House Majority Today

National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula has informed on why he failed to name the majority group in the house during today's proceedings. Kenya Kwanza and Azimio legislators continue to argue on the issue.

Azimio on their side says they are the majority claiming that those parties that decamped the coalition after the elections did so contrary to the contract they signed before the election period.

And according to Tuko, Wetang'ula abstained from the massive balancing act by asking members of the house to debate the matter before he made a final ruling later.

"Concerning the first question honorable members, I will reserve the rest of today’s sitting to allow the House to address me on this matter so that I can retreat to make a reasoned ruling and guidance to the house,” Wetangula said.

And ours is to wait and see how Wetangula will rule on the issue of the majority in NA as both groups are hopeful they will be on the majority side.
