DP Ruto's Message To All Kenyans Today After He Voted

It is a historic moment for Kenyans as they are currently exercising their democratic right of choosing their leaders for the next five years. They will be choosing their fifth Head of State given that President Uhuru Kenyatta will be retiring after completing his two terms in office as per the Kenyan Constitution, governors, Senators, Women Representatives, Members of Parliament, and Members of County Assemblies.

Deputy President William Samoei Ruto who is the United Democratic Alliance presidential flag bearer voted at a rural home in Sugoi very early in the morning.

Immediately after finishing casting his vote, he took to his official social media platforms to indicate that he has voted and Kenyans should do it too.

"I have voted. You too should. Your vote counts." He wrote.

In my opinion, I urge all Kenyans to maintain peace after voting and accept whoever IEBC announces as the winner.
