Raila Odinga Claims That Kenya's Substantial Debt Load And Foreign Loans Are Not A Problem (Video)

On 28th June the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga accompanied by his running mate Martha Karua did a joint interview with Kenya media house, Raila and Karua were asked several questions concerning the 2022 August elections.

When asked if he would accept defeat if he lost the election, Raila responded, "If Ruto or Wajackoyah would win, I will accept the results and congratulate the winner." Raila also asserted that he is prepared to participate in the July 2022 presidential debate.

The former prime minister Raila Odinga also said that he planned everything with the former president of Kenya, Mwai Kibaki and that if he is elected, he will pick on where Kibaki left off to ensure that Kenya will once again be a great nation.

Additionally, Raila stated that there is no issue with Kenya having a large amount of debt and loans from other nations. According to Raila Odinga, every nation needs a loan to boost its economy, therefore having a large number of loans from other nations is not an issue.
