The bypass being constructed by Jubilee government could be one of a kind in the Northrift region.The bypass links the counties of Kakamega,Bungoma and Transnzoia to Eldoret city.It is expected to ease the congestion and traffic on the busy Uganda road that passes through Eldoret town and extends all the way to Uganda.The project is due to be completed in december 2021.

The Eldoret city is one of the fastest growing cities in Kenya.It is the home county of the Deputy president Dr.William Ruto who is eyeing the country's top seat.The bypass is being constructed in his Turbo constituency where he was an mp for three terms before he became a Deputy president in 2013.While campaigning, the Uhuru Ruto duo pledged to improve the road infrastructre in the country for ease Transport.
