President Uhuru Kenyatta has for the first time delivered signals of Betraying his handshake partner Hon Raila Odinga as far as the ongoing 2022 succession politics are concerned.
According to a leaked phone call (done by Inooro Tv) between the head of state and Mt Kenya region leaders, President Uhuru Kenyatta has now distanced himself from the allegations that he has already endorsed someone (Raila Odinga) as his next successor ahead of the upcoming 2022 polls.
But in a message perceived as an encouragement to all leaders who have took an initiative of holding negotiation talks with various 2022 Presidential aspirants, the head of state has now given them an okay, but maintaining the fact that he is the one who will issue a final statement.
"Good People, I wish to thank all of you for your continued support and the quest to have an united region. When we met, we agreed that these things must be handled with a lot of care, we won't rush for these things, even though I haven't condemned those who are meeting various leaders. But, I have endorsed nobody, please ignore the rumors, " Uhuru said in Kikuyu.
