With barely less than one month remaining to the highly contested 9th August General Election, various politicians eying elective seats have employed tactics to counter their rivals and clinch to power to further their political careers.The metropolitan Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat is a two horse race between an Independent candidate Hon. Bundotuch Buzeki and his rival in UDA camp Hon. Jonathan Chelilim Bii. The nation is currently in a period of high octane politics as various leaders rock horns with each one striving to outdo the other.
While taking to his Facebook page, Hon. Jonathan Chelilim has fired salvos at the independent candidate Hon. Zedekiah Buzeki after a video of his team campaigning for Baba surfaced online.
"Buzeki should outrightly declare his stand instead of hiding behind an independent ticket! The people of Uasin Gishu are not fools!"
The UDA aspirant has demanded that Jonathan Bii should come out clear of being an Azimio politician and declare his alignment after he endorsed Raila Odinga for the top seat. Here are some reactions from Kenyans below:
