"Raila Aunge Wengine Mkono, Ameungwa Mkono Kwa Muda Mrefu" Cleophas Malala Says

Politics is one of the democratic rights contained in the Bill of Rights and in the new constitution of Kenya of 2010. The document states that every citizen has fundamental right and freedom of vying for political seats and participating in electoral process such as voting.

The top government lawmakers and politicians have already started preparing themselves well ahead of 2022 polls that are scheduled to take place in the month of August. President Uhuru Kenyatta will be retiring after completing his two terms in office and top politicians such as deputy president Dr. William Ruto, Raila Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka have shown interest of succeeding Kenyatta.

Kakamega senator Hon. Cleophas Malala has this evening urged Raila Odinga to shelve his presidential bid and endorse one of the presidential candidates ahead of 2022 polls. Malala has made the remarks during an interview with K24 television this evening. Malala added on saying that time has come when Musalia Mudavadi who is ANC party leader to rule as the president.
