The Former Prime minister who is also the Azimio presidential candidate is expected to unveil his running mate today. Kenyans who are diehards of Azimio assembled at the venue this morning for the big day.
According to reliable sources, the panel which chose the candidate had the opportunity to interview: Hon. Martha Karua, Hon. Sabina Chege, Hon Joho, Hon Joho, Hon Oparanya, and Cs Munya. The panel also interviewed Kalonzo Musyoka who is not present at KICC.
According to reports by Junet Mohammed who is the Azimio secretary-general, the party leaders who attended the event were Raila Odinga(ODM), Martha Karua (NARC Kenya), Mukhisa Kituyi, Wafula Wamunyinyi, Cyrus Jirongo, Peter Munya, and others who are supporters of the coalition.
Sources also say that the Kanu party leader, Hon. Gideon Moi arrived at KICC earlier but later went to see Kalonzo in Karen. Kalonzo has threatened to vie for the presidency if not selected as the deputy.
