Mwaura Isaac Maigua is a politician, a disability advocate and a former nominated senator in the Kenya's Senate, representing Persons with Disabilities. He was the first Member of Parliament in Kenya with Albinism. He belonged to Jubilee Party until he was ejected.
Gladys Atieno Nyasuna Wanga is a the current women's representative for the Homa Bay County having clinched the seat in 2017 during the last general elections in Kenya.She obtained her bachelor's degree in Health Management from the Kenyatta University in 2004 and later on graduated from Kenyatta University in 2012 with a master's degree in health management.
At Kenyatta University, she was the first female to participate and win an elective seat as the general secretary of the Union of the Students.
