Political analyst and governance expert Gabriel Muthuma, has argued why the government should sent police officers to the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition party leader Raila Odinga's planned protest rallies.
Speaking during an interview with Citizen television today morning show dubbed Daybreak, Muthuma said that it is more advisable for the government to deploy police officers to the planned Azimio rallies. Since there is always a tendency for supporters to cause chaos and destroy properties during such rallies.
He argued that he has never seen a peaceful political rally since the supporters of those politicians usually brings everything to a standstill. They destroy properties causing businesses to be closed and even at times some people usually lose their lives. Hence there is need for government to send enough police officers to man the rallies to prevent any destruction.
