Since 2018 when the Handshake between Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta took place, there have been differences in Jubilee party between leaders allied to the party leader and those allied to his Deputy.
In the recent days, there have been debates of a plan by Jubilee party to Impeach the Deputy President William Ruto on grounds of his disloyalty to the party and to President Uhuru.
This debate was started by Jubilee party Secretary General Raphael Tuju and Vice Chairman David Murathe as soon as Soy Constituency MP allied to the DP was ousted as Deputy Secretary General.
Hon Nyoro has said that Jubilee cannot impeach the DP because it is a party of the past and threats on the DP can never see light of the day.
The Kiharu Constituency legislator has said that attempts by Jubilee to impeach DP Ruto can never go anywhere because the party has become an unknown entity that is being run like a family affair.
"Jubilee as we know and as we believe is a party of the past. And therefore do not think you can threaten anyone by purporting you want to remove the Deputy President. You are moving to something that is neither here nor there, an unknown entity. You have been running Jubilee party as a family affair. Jubilee has been run like a family kiosk,"Hon Ndindi Nyoro said.
