The Integrity Issue On Elective Posts Must Be Dealt With Now.

I always wonder what the IEBC stands for besides conducting elections. My thoughts always direct me to their power to clear candidates to run for elective seats.

But here lies the problem: How come the IEBC can clear a candidate with questionable integrity issues? Take for instance, when the 24 listed members will present their papers, the IEBC will simply clear them without any problem.

Chapter 6 of our world acclaimed constitution spells out who should be eleclected to a public office and who should not. But what happens? They get a nod and run for office without any problem.

What about the presidential candidates? Some go for those with questionable characters as their running mates. It seems that even them thy do not believe the IEBC's to stop them.

Let me sight an example. Mr. Kalonzo Musyoka clearing Mr. Mike Sonko to run for Mombasa governor seat. Was that out of malice or a honest desire to have Mombasa people getting service?

Another person is Ruto. Choosing Gashagua over Kindiki. Did he really understand the end result? Even so, he did not see any worthy person in Central worth the position?

It is okay to advocate for economy, but come to think of it: the same economy is the one looted once built, by the very people advocating for it.

Listen, it is either the IEBC, EACC and the courts crack whip, or Kenya won't recover next time it is looted. And lastly, why do we even attend rallies organized by these suspects in the first place?

Something is very wrong with Kenya and Kenyans as a whole.
