Sankok Revealed His One Mission He Wanted To Accomplish Before Retiring From Politics

David Sankok, a candidate for the House of Representatives, has declared his retirement from active politics.

On Monday, the newly elected congressman declared that he will not run for any electoral office in the August elections.

Additionally, he declared that he will not run for any nomination to serve in parliament once more.

"Whether or not to contest is a matter of personal choice. This time around, I've made the decision not to apply for any elective positions. I need to work on some of my enterprises because I got involved in the advocacy of people with disabilities at a young age and never had time for personal growth, he said in an interview on Spice FM on Monday.

He also promised to keep advocating for the rights of people with disabilities.

When Ruto is elected president, "I will be satisfied because I will know that Persons Living with Disability needs will be captured," he said. "My duty and mission was to make sure that I support Ruto."

Sankok was chosen by the Jubilee Parliament in 2017 to represent the needs of people with disabilities in the twelfth Parliament.
