The wiper earlier on revealed it's intentions to have Kalonzo Musyoka vie for presidency. The mission was however dealt a blow after Kalonzo's name was scrapped from the list of presidential contestants. The act therefore prompted Wiper to seek clarifications from IEBC.
While responding to the party' inquiries, IEBC revealed that it had fulfilled all the requirements except one. IEBC revealed through a letter that wiper did not submit its soft copy version of signatures in Excel format but did so in PDF format. IEBC therefore revealed that in order for Kalonzo to be in the list, the party should submit the signatures in the required format.
"The commission has considered and acceded to your request to be allowed to submit the soft copy of your list of supporters in Excel format by 29th May at 9:00am at the Bomas of Kenya, failing which your documentation will not be certified as compliant," read part of the IEBC letter.
