BREAKING NEWS: Citizen TV's Senior Journalist Resigns to Take New Role in Ruto's Government

Award winning Journalist and a Political Affairs Editor at Citizen TV Francis Gachuri has been appointed the head of communications at the Ministry of Interior.

Kenya's mainstream media house Citizen TV is known for its professionalism and the fact that it has produced top news anchors and journalists. Their top rating has even given it's employees exposure to the extent that they are even porched by the government to serve in public service.

It all started with Kanze Dena who was porches by former president Uhuru Kenyatta where he appointed her as State House spokesperson where she served till Uhuru's retirement. Then it was followed by Hussain Mohamed who also served at Citizen TV before quiting it for a private life.

Today, it has emerged that another top Citizen TV's journalist Francis Gachuri has been appointed by the Ruto administration to serve in the ministry of Interior and coordination of National Government. According to the information, Gachuri will serve as the head of communications at the Ministry of Interior.

Kenyans have since taken to social media to congratulate him for the appointment as they wish him all the best in his new endeavor.
