Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia has revealed they will will be taking part in six month extensive campaign trail for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s presidential bid whether some people will make noise or not.
Speaking during a Muranga grassroots leaders meeting held on Monday, January 24, in Murang'a County, Macharia stated that they will drum up support for Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader adding that Raila is the best suited to replace President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"We are saying this openly because we are not hiding, that from today for six months we shall be in the campaign trail to campaign for Baba (Raila) because we don't have any other alternative. There is no other option,” Macharia stated.
During the function, Macharia called Raila Odinga the fifth President adding that this time round they will ensure 98% voter term out for Raila Odinga.
