President Uhuru Kenyatta recently came back from the US where he visited officially to attend on state functions. While at the US, the president engaged the US president Joe Biden on a variety of issues and on how the two nations can strengthen ties.
Upon returning back, the head of state officiated a celebration at Kahawa Barracks Garrison where they were celebrating KDF Day that marked 10 years since KDF entry into Somalia. However, the president appears to be back to his normal duties.
According to State House Kenya, it was revealed that, "His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County for a series of official engagements among them a meeting with Kirinyaga County leaders ahead of Mashujaa Day celebrations to be held at Wang'uru Stadium in Mwea".
Upon arrival, he was received by two powerful leaders who are the Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru and Principal Secretary Kibicho.
