Finally Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has revealed the official date for By-election in various counties. The commission has published a gazzete notice which entailed the areas which By-election will be conducted.
The official date for By-election will be on 8th December 2022. The parliamentary By-election for member of the Senate, in Bungoma County, will be held on 8th December 2022. This comes after Moses Wetangula was elected as the Speaker of National Assembly.

Other areas in various counties that By-election will be conducted include the following; Ololmasan, Kyome/Thaana, Utawala, Mumias North and South Gem Wards in Narok, Kitui, Nairobi City Kakamega and Siaya County Assemblies respectively.
