Raila Odinga has contested for presidential race four times without making it. He has not shown any sign of giving up after failing four times. In 2007, the ODM party leader had a strong team that was led by deputy president William Ruto. The election ended badly after Kibaki was declared a winner of election.
The country landed in a civil war which led to lose of life and destruction of properties. Central Kenya was in forefront in fighting for their leadership. The hatred between Raila and people from central Kenya was escalated from that time.
Nyandarua governor Francis Kimemia has come out and revealed the secret behind Raila's hatred in central. According to Kimemia, all things they talked about Raila in 2007 were lies and was political.
"When I was in Kibaki’s camp and Raila Odinga was our opponent, we said lies about him. We ruined his reputation alot. I can tell you today that we were telling lies. It was all politics"- Kimemia stated.
