Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago who is currently serving his final term in office, has declared his interest to vie for presidency after his retirement.
Speaking in Eldoret town today as quoted by the Nation, Mandago said that he has a very good strategic plan of making his bid successful and he will take a period of ten years, from his retirement as the Governor to prepare well for presidential bidding in the year 2032.
According to him, he has already set his mind for that and he is praying to God to enable him succeed when that time comes. He argued that when you need something you must take time to prepare for it and at the same time praying for it so that God can help you.
He is therefore confident that by that time he will be ready for that battle to be the country's next Head of State of the upcoming regime.
