Inspector General of police Japheth Koome has found himself at loggerhead with president William Ruto's allies months after his appointment as the inspector general.
Koome now says that there have been attempt to control the police by political leaders and top Government officials allied to the fifth president of the republic of Kenya.

According to him he will not allow any political leader or top Government officials to control the Kenya police. Remember that president William Ruto is on record saying that he does not want to Kenya police to be controlled by political leaders and that he want them to be independent in their day to day work.

President William Ruto will now have to call his allies to order to avoid failing Kenyans on the promises he made to them that the Kenya police will be independent in his government.
It's now a matter of wait and see what happens in the coming days if he will call his allies to order or not.
