Independent Electoral & Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Vice Chair Juliana Cherera on Monday, 5th December 2022, resigned days after President William Ruto gazetted a tribunal to probe the four suspended commissioners.
Cherera became the second commissioner to resign after Justus Nyangaya also bowed to pressure and resigned from the commission.
Ledama has warned President Ruto to learn that power is transcient and not parmanent so today he can punish the IEBC officials as much as he wants but he will cry tomorrow.
"Leaders must learn from history that power is not permanent it is transient! So today punish the IEBC official as much as you can or desire -: celebrate in fact toast to your success! but tomorrow is coming and you to will cry … glands above your eyes will be at work!" Senator Ledama Olekina said.
