"If You Lose the Presidency in 2022, Reputation You Have Build Will be Reduced to None" Raila Warned

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has described the former prime minister and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga as a reformist, a true statesman, an icon and a lion of political mass movement in the country.

Ngunyi however says that Odinga's statesmanship and all political reputations he has built over the years will depend on if the former premier will vie for president and if he will win the seat. Odinga is currently seeking to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in next years General elections slated for August 9th 2022.

According to the analyst, Raila's political reputation will remain if he chooses to retire honorably or if he vies and win. The ODM leader is making his fifth stab at the presidency. He has vied for the coveted seat in 1997, 2007, 2013 and 2017.

The State House strategist says that if however Raila Odinga vies for president and loses in 2022, his political reputations he has built over the decade will be reduced to none.
