The 2022 Presidential has for a long time been poised to be a battle between Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto. The two have been the leading candidates in the race since the beginning of the year.
According to the latest polls in Nairobi County by Info Trak, Raila Odinga is leading in the Presidential race. The former Prime Minister has got 49% popularity while his closest rival William Ruto has got 30% popularity.
The new poll results show worrying statistics for William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza brigade because the gap between him and Raila seems to be widening in Nairobi County. This could be the same situation across the country.
Part of the reason for the drop in Ruto's popularity is his choice of running mate. Rigathi Gachagua seems to be unpopular as compared to Raila's running mate Martha Karua.
Other candidates in the Presidential race, Professor Wajackoyah and David Mwaure, had 5% popularity each
