Nyeri Woman Rep Rejected President Ruto Offer To Chair The Welfare Committee In National Parliament

Rehab Mukami, a delegate representing Nyeri County, allegedly rejected President William Ruto's offer to chair the National Assembly's extremely demanding Welfare Committee because it fell short of her expectations.

Speaking to a reporter, Hon. Rehab Mukami asserts that Nyeri County deserves better committee seats because it produced both the deputy and president Rigathi Gachagua.

President William Ruto allegedly promised Hon. Rehab a position on the Public Service Commission, but she claims she was shortchanged and the position was instead given to another leader.

You know Nyeri delivered, and I worked hard for them because they deserved better. When I first started my fight, the President personally pledged that I would win the Parliamentary Service Commission. She started.

According to her, the seat cannot compare to the backing Kenya Kwanza received in the County. She consequently refuses to take the position of chair of the welfare committee.
