Raila's Orange Democratic Movement party has today unveiled its lineup for the three Kakamega Top seats after negotiations and consultations led by Governor Wycliffe Oparanya.
In the lineup unveiled today, former KETRACO boss Fernandes Barasa will be flying the gubernatorial ticket, Dr Brian Lishenga will fly senatorial ticket after the governor convinced three other aspirants to drop their bids.
The incumbent women representative Elsie Muhanda will defend her seat on the party ticket in the forthcoming General elections
"I have today unveiled Dr Lishenga and the entire ODM County line up which include; FCPA Fernandes Baraza (Governor) and Hon Elsie Muhanda (Women Representative)." The governor posted on his social media pages.
The party had settled on Barasa and Muhanda, however, three senatorial aspirants Simbauni and Andama were still firmly on the race.
The ODM deputy governor promised to deliver all the seats in the forthcoming polls. "We now have an ODM team that will deliver the seats for the party in Kakamega." He stated.
Already Kenya Kwanza has settled on Boni Khalwale to run for senatorial seat and senator Cleophas Malala to vie for governor seat. DAP-K is yet to unveil it's lineup
