Narok Woman Representative Soipan Tuya on Thursday praised Deputy President William Ruto for changing the political discussion across the country through his hustler nation narrative and the economic development model.
Speaking in Narok County where Ruto had hosted youth leaders from the county, Tuya termed Ruto a 'pace setter' who has managed to be the center of attraction, thanks to the bottom up model.
Tuya who is eyeing Narok Gubernatorial post expressed her confidence that Ruto will win the presidency due to his agenda.
"We have seen your competitors traversing the whole country, and their only agenda is how they are going to unite in blocking you from accessing the State House. We want to tell you Your Excellency that we are behind you, and we are supporting your agenda of changing the lives of Kenyans and reviving the economy," said Tuya.
She added, "Even the little children know what bottom up is. You are a pace setter because everyone is now talking about your agenda."
In his speech Ruto urged the youth leaders to rally their constituents in supporting him, adding that his government will be focused in empowering the small scale and the medium business enterprises.
