Popular vernacular media personality Wanjiku Wa Njuguna has pledged unwavering loyalty for ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Wanjiku, a former presenter at Inooro FM, vowed not to abandon Raila even after he failed to clinch the presidency in his fifth attempt.

In a Facebook post, the presenter who co-hosted Inooro's popular adults-only show 'Hutia Mundu' with renowned priest Bishop JJ Gitahi, said she does not regret voting for the Azimio La Umoja leader during August 9 presidential election, adding she will still wake up early again to vote for him if a repeat election is called.

"Baba Raila Odinga, I believed in you and I still do. Whatever I did, voting for you and converting others, I've no regrets. I don't regret being your soldier," Wanjiku posted.

"Am praying for you and I believe the next step you'll take, will be because of this country. You fought and your resolve is making Kenya a better country for all," she added.

Wanjiku, who unsuccessfully vied for Kipipiri MP position in 2017, said she will not be distracted by the supporters of Deputy President William Ruto who have been taunting her stating she will continue backing Raila until he exits political stage.

"For those who are still making fun of those of us who supported baba, it's your time. Relieve them, rub them in. A soldier takes pride even in bruises, scars, pain etc. I've no ill feelings. Bring them on," said the ex-Inooro FM presenter who is also a YouTuber.
