Third-way Alliance party leader Dr. Ekuru Aukot has reacted to reports of a plotted handshake between Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga and President William Ruto.

Aukot in his remarks has alleged the reason behind the plotted Raila-Ruto handshake months after the general election that saw the latter declared the winner.
He has alleged that the plotted handshake with Raila is President Ruto's strategy to tame Raila and go into slumber months after taking office.
Aukot has claimed that the strategy is to see Ruto and his government go into slumber and be excused from meeting his election promises to Kenyans.
"Another #Handshake loading. A strategy for government to go into slumber and to be excused from meeting election promises," Thirdway Alliance party's Dr. Ekuru Aukot said.
The allegations by Aukot come after President Ruto reportedly gave Raila a lifeline to have more MPs picked into the National Assembly which will see 24 more female members nominated.
