"Politicians wanted me dead" Mike Sonko says as he reveals the person who rescued him secretly

The year 2021 had its ups and downs, and on the political front, we witnessed the impeachment of former governor Mike Sonko under the leadership of former president Uhuru Kenyatta, who fought for Sonko's replacement. Sonko apparently did not like being asked to get up from his seat before his time was up.

He actually vented his rage on Uhuru Kenyatta, who even suggested that he be prosecuted for bribery, corruption, and other offenses. Sonko, it appears, has come forth publicly today to admit that the previous president truly outplayed himself in believing that he was so wise in his choices. Before entering politics, Sonko and Ann Kananu were friends, and at one point, Kananu rescued Sonko's life from certain politicians.

Sonko said that he secretly worked with Kananu to schedule flights since many people wanted him to perish in a helicopter crash. He admitted that he was unaware of their friendship in private and their continued collaboration even after the incident until Uhuru replaced him with Kananu. Sonko claimed that his friendship with Kananu has not changed because of politics, and the two support one another's political aspirations.
