With only a few hours until another General Election The Kikuyu Council has offered to campaign for Martha-Raila for President.
The Patron Kago mwingi, is in charge. They have shifted their position on Ruto's presidency dismissing his efforts to gain political support from the larger Mount Kenya Region.
They have urged Mountain residents to vote in large numbers for Raila Amollo Odinga to become the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya. Their reasons are based on integrity, democracy and political trust.
This follows retired Captain Kungu wa Muigai, President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta's Cousin, meeting with Kenya Kwanza leader Ruto at his Official Karen Residence and promising him that more than 80% of Mount Kenya Residents will vote him in as the 5th Head of State.
Some claim that the political effects of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Martha Wangari Karua are to blame. Raila has the Mountain's full support.
