DP William Ruto Summons Cabinet Secretaries For a Meeting

Five cabinet secretaries and the Council of Governors have reportedly been summoned to a meeting of the Inter-governmental Budget and Economic Council by Deputy President William Ruto.

According to an exclusive story by the Daily Nation, the meeting will take place on November 22, 2021.

National Treasury CS Ukuru Yattani, Education CS George Magoha, Agriculture CS Peter Munya, Transport CS James Macharia, and Devolution CS Charles Keter have all been invited by the second-in-command.

A segment of the cabinet, according to the Nation, believes that the meeting and its scheduling are not well-intentioned. They believe the DP would utilize the gathering to bolster his 2022 campaign..The invitation letter issued to Ruto's Chief of Staff, Ken Osinde, read, "The objective of this letter is to advise you that the next full council meeting shall take place on Monday, 22nd November 2021 at the Office of the Deputy President, Karen office, at 9am."

Martin Wambora, the chair of the Council of Governors, Nancy Gathungu, the office of the Auditor-General, Margaret Nyakang'o, Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Anne Amadi, Jane Kirinagai, Ndegwa Wahome, Clerk of the National Assembly Michael Sialai, and the acting chairman of the Inter-governmental Relations Technical Committee Burungu.
