James Orengo's Morning Message to Ruto as He Heads to Raila's Siaya County

It is impractical!' Orengo gives DP Ruto's Kenya Kwanza manifesto a 10% rating

A day after he landed in Homa Bay county to a huge reception, President William Ruto is today expected to land in Raila Odinga's Siaya county.

The head of state is expected to attend the homecoming ceremony of ICT CS Eliud Owalo and later meet with the county's top leadership and its residents to discuss a number of development projects to be effected by Kenya Kwanza government in the county.

And with only hours before Ruto's maiden landing, Siaya Governor James Orengo has taken to Twitter to welcome the president. In a morning message, Orengo welcomed Ruto to Siaya, saying the county is a land of endless opportunities and should be 'explored' by the head of state.

"I take this opportunity to welcome the President @WilliamsRuto to Siaya County. This is the land of endless possibilities and opportunities. Karibu Siaya. #Nyalore" tweeted Orengo

He will become the fourth Governor from Nyanza to welcome Ruto into the region. On Friday, Ruto was welcomed to Homa Bay by Governor Gladys Wanga and later welcomed to Kisumu county by Anyang Nyong. He also met with Migori county Governor Achillo Ayako, where he he promised that government will help in improving fishing, infrastructure, mining and agriculture
