2022 elections is currently attracting various presidential candidates. Those who have already announced their interest in the top seat includes Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Governor Hassan Joho, Musalia Mudavadi and deputy president William Ruto.
One day after Dr Mukhisa Kituyi highlighted possible politicians he is likely to form a coalition with, he has officially announced his presidential interest. Taking to his facebook page, Mukhisa Kituyi listed the only votes in needs in 2022 elections."If you hate the oppressed don't vote for me, if you are glorifying the oppressors don't support me." Said Dr Mukhisa. "Tumeanza safari" he added, meaning he has now started his 2022 journey.
His candidature is likely to divide Western Kenya votes as Mudavadi has also announced his interest in presidential seat. Yesterday, some of his (Mudavadi) allies met with Migori Governor Okoth Obado to discuss the possible alliance between Obado's PDP Party and ANC party.
