Raila was addressing the crowd when he paused his speech to ask what was going on after noticing a commotion that was happening in front of him.
Raila is heard asking the crowd, “Ni nani huyo? Iko shida gani hapo? (Who is that? What is the problem?)”
A section of the politicians who were sitting down are seen standing to try and see what was happening in the crowd after what Raila had said as he was pointing where the commotion was.
“Hapana leta fujo bwana. (Don’t bring problems),” said the ODM leader as he tried the calm the situation.
When Raila noticed a section of the area residents running away, he told them to come back since the commotion was ending.
“Hakuna shida, musikimbie, musikimbie inje, hakuna kitu, rudini. (There is no problem, don’t run away, there is nothing, come back),” said Raila.
The commotion however lasted for a few seconds and Raila was able to continue with his speech.
