Opinion Poll: William Ruto And Raila Odinga Popularity Trends From 2019-2021

Politics is a game of numbers and deceit. Politicians are not enemies but their interests will make them either work together or not. William Ruto and Raila Odinga worked together in 2007 where they were running against Former President Mwai Kibaki. However, the two will be running against each other come 2022. The dynamism of polotics at play is that people must come together, sit together, work together and fight battles together if they are serious about clinging the top seats.

Dr. William Ruto despite still leading in Mt Kenya region is facing a lot of hardles especially after Raila Odinga was endorsed by Mt Kenya Foundation. William Ruto's popularity in 2019 was at 76%, in 2022, it was at 64% and recently it was reported to be at 58%. However, Raila's popularity in the region is rising. In 2019, Raila popularity was 5.4%, in 2022, it rose to 11.2% and recently it was reported to be 27.2%
